Super Simple Vest
Wednesday April 8, 2026 2:00pm - 4:00pm PDT
Ready to dip your toe into garment sewing without spiraling into pattern panic? Super Simple Vest is the perfect beginner-friendly intro to making something you’ll actually wear.

In this workshop, you’ll sew a clean, easy vest that’s endlessly customizable. Keep it classic and monochromatic, or go full creative gremlin and mix fabrics, contrast the pockets, or add your own embellishments. This is a choose-your-own-adventure situation — and you’ll walk away with a handmade layer that feels very you.

If you’ve been wanting to try garment sewing but felt intimidated, this is your soft entry point.

Totes to Baskets
Thursday April 9, 2026 3:30pm - 5:30pm PDT
**Bring your own tote- perhaps even the Craftcation 2026 tote!**

Soooo many tote bags! What if we could transform them into storage baskets. Spoiler alert - we can! Join this beginner/intermediate level sewing class where the only limit on how many baskets you can make is time and the number of totes you bring. I'll show you how to easily transform your tote into a darling basket. Beginners will also get a lesson on how to use a sewing machine, while confident sewists will be able to dive in and proceed at top speed. Convert your Craftcation 2026 tote into a lined basket, and/or bring past/other totes for maximum fun.

Learn 7 seams and hems (and when to use them!) to level up your sewing
Saturday April 11, 2026 9:00am - 11:00am PDT
Unconventional materials and designs often require unconventional solutions: a plain seam or single-fold hem isn't always going to cut it when creating costumes, garments, home decor, and other projects! In this workshop, learn how to sew seven seams and hems... and when, exactly, they're best used! You'll walk away with a cute "swatch book" of techniques, which you can use to replicate what you've learned on future projects.
