Create your own one-of-a-kind magnet in this 45-minute hands-on session at the eufyMake booth. Using the innovative E1 UV Printer, you’ll design and print a vibrant, textured magnet with a raised finish you can see and feel.
Choose from ready-made templates or customize your own design, then watch as it’s printed directly onto a ceramic magnet in rich color and 3D detail. Along the way, you’ll get a quick intro to how UV printing works—and how it can be used on materials like wood, metal, and glass.
You’ll leave with a finished magnet and a glimpse into what’s possible with this accessible, professional-grade tool.

**This workshop requires a reference photo of your pet. Once you are enrolled in the class, please email your pet's photo to [email protected]. If you do not email the photo by 3/29, you will be given a different image to embroider**

Learn how to embroider a portrait of your pet! Before the workshop, Sara of Bear&Bean will draw a custom portrait of your pet and a pattern for you to stitch on. During the workshop, you will learn beginner-friendly techniques on how to fill in the design with thread, paint-by-number style. When finished, the embroidery can be used to decorate a piece of clothing, hat, or bag.

Explore a modern take on kimekomi in this hands-on workshop! Traditionally, kimekomi is a Japanese art form where fabric is pressed into grooves on a solid base—without any sewing or gluing. In this workshop, we’ll put a twist on this method, using upcycled fabric scraps and a 6” x 6” foam base to create a vibrant, patterned beetle.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:
A beginner-friendly, no-sew technique for pressing fabric into a base
How to prepare foam and cut grooves to create your design
Tips for selecting and combining fabric scraps for a bold, colorful look

Learn how to use reference images (or go on your own) how to work on each motif using watercolor and gouache while still thinking of them as a collection. THIS IS A TWO PART CLASS- You must enroll in Part 1 and 2 to finish your project!
Ready to swap out restrictive clothing for some beach pants that adapt to your body and feel expressively you? Sewing instructor and me-made enthusiast Even Howard will guide participants through sewing simple cropped pants with size adaptive features so your custom clothing fits today and adapts to days to come. We will also tour clever ready to wear clothing, independent pattern designs, and clothing features that make size-flexible clothing the new normal in your sewing. This class is suitable for beginner sewists who have used a machine at least once before. We will learn to utilize elastic, grommets, and D rings. All gender expressions and body sizes are welcome. Pattern sizes include 30" to 64" hip measurement and instructor will assist with fit customizations.

Join us for a relaxed craft hang at one of our favorite Ventura spots, ArtHouse & Co.. This is a low-key, come-as-you-are gathering where you can bring any work-in-progress, pull up a chair, and spend some time crafting and connecting with fellow Craftcation attendees.

ArtHouse & Co. will have tables and chairs set up so you can settle in, hang out, and make things in a cozy, inspiring space. While you’re there, be sure to browse their beautiful selection of books, home goods, and creative supplies. Craftcation attendees get 10% off anything in the shop (except Legos).

Make a little afternoon of it by popping into Findings Market just across the street and Smitten Bookstore around the corner — two more of our favorite local shops. And if you’re hungry or thirsty, Model Citizen is right next door and serves some of the best food and drinks in town.

No agenda, no pressure — just crafting, community, and exploring Ventura together.
