Anti-Marketing: Sell Your Work Without Selling Out
Thursday April 9, 2026 9:00am - 11:00am PDT
We’re all tired of webinars, hard pitches, sliding into the DMs, and funnels. Do we HAVE TO “pay to play”? Ugh! In this workshop, we’ll examine what’s working now in the world of online sales that no one is talking about. It’s time to engage with our audience authentically, skip the smarmy tactics, and ditch complicated funnels. Discover why “sales” feels gross and what you can do instead to stay true to who you are, respect your clients and customers, and make massive bank! I’ll pull back the curtain and reveal why I changed how I sell, and now I have more purpose, make more money, and have more freedom.

Mapping Out Your Next Launch
Thursday April 9, 2026 1:00pm - 3:00pm PDT
We've all done or seen it before: we've got a new product, new event, or new thing to share with our audience. We create one email, or one social media post about it.
And then...crickets.
It's painful, embarrassing, and we tend to wallow in the depths of our own self-loathing, thinking that the new thing is a failure...and that we are a failure.
Even though none of that is true.
In this workshop, we'll start formulating your new routine for all your launches by mapping out your next launch with an actual dang strategy (and what that actually is).
If you've got a new thing or widget to launch down the road, bring it, and we'll map it out together!

Thursday April 9, 2026 1:00pm - 3:00pm PDT
Curious about how art licensing really works—from the creative side to the business side? In this panel, two presenters share what it takes to get your work licensed and what happens after the ink dries. You’ll learn the basics of licensing, from key terms and types of agreements to finding the right partners, getting paid, and deciding whether licensing or selling outright makes sense for you.

We’ll also dig into the process and costs from the maker’s perspective—what it takes to bring licensed art to life on products, where to find opportunities, and which networking events are worth your time. (We may touch on general pricing, but no legal advice will be given.)

Stick around for Q&A to get your specific questions answered.

Million-Dollar Lessons: After the Online Course Boom and What’s Working Now for Craft-Based Educators

I'll use my own experience as a concrete illustration and walk attendees through interactive exercises to create new messaging for their courses that actually works now in a year of A.I., screen fatigue and growing consumer mistrust. Attendees will walk away with a 1) Specific , time-based transformation that their course will deliver, 2) Ways to add human touch-points so they're not just selling information that is readily available on ChatGPT, and 3) Inspiration to inject more of their unique personality and stories into their course marketing.

Learn Tatting and Make Earrings! - Session 1
Thursday April 9, 2026 3:30pm - 5:30pm PDT
Tatting is a very interesting lace-making technique using a simple shuttle and crochet thread. In this workshop, I'll teach you the basics and then guide you through making your own pair of delicate lace, tatted earrings!

You'll learn the basic tatting stitch, how to create picots, join rings, and tips on loading, holding, and using the shuttle. Then, you'll make a pair of earrings, choosing from a few simple designs that will allow you to practice your newly learned skills!

I'll have lots of examples of tatting - some old and some modern - that will inspire you and show you the possibilities with tatting. There's a whole world of lace making that you can discover by starting with this class.

No previous experience needed. Tatting is truly a hands-on craft, with one hand continuously holding and adjusting the tension for each ring, while the other hand is guiding the shuttle and thread. It does take some finger dexterity and coordination (a bit like knitting), but once you get the hang of it, it’s seriously addictive!

If you use reading glasses, please bring them along.
