Join us for a relaxed craft hang at one of our favorite Ventura spots, ArtHouse & Co.. This is a low-key, come-as-you-are gathering where you can bring any work-in-progress, pull up a chair, and spend some time crafting and connecting with fellow Craftcation attendees.

ArtHouse & Co. will have tables and chairs set up so you can settle in, hang out, and make things in a cozy, inspiring space. While you’re there, be sure to browse their beautiful selection of books, home goods, and creative supplies. Craftcation attendees get 10% off anything in the shop (except Legos).

Make a little afternoon of it by popping into Findings Market just across the street and Smitten Bookstore around the corner — two more of our favorite local shops. And if you’re hungry or thirsty, Model Citizen is right next door and serves some of the best food and drinks in town.

No agenda, no pressure — just crafting, community, and exploring Ventura together.

Join Sam Matthews of Propagate Studio and Project Propagate, a pay-what-you-can art supply thrift shop in New Jersey, for this community-favorite event where makers, artists, and creative hoarders (you know who you are) come together to trade treasures. Bring those extra supplies, materials, tools, or crafty odds and ends that deserve a second life, and go home with fresh inspiration while keeping good stuff out of the landfill.

No money, no pressure, just good vibes and creative recycling. Come swap, mingle, and leave with your next great project waiting to happen.

Holly and Emily are back as your hosts for this year’s Iron Craft Ventura!

At Iron Craft Ventura, you’ll experience:
Crafting.
Secret Supplies.
Surprises.
Mayhem.
Craftcation attendees will compete against other makers to vie for the title (AND prizes!) of Iron Craft Champion. The defending champion will be there to hold her title- will she win again or will someone new claim the title?

Competitors will be given a basic set of craft supplies and will need to create a super rad creation, within minutes. But–there’s a catch: competitors will need to include the Secret Supply Item, which will be revealed just as the timer starts!

Come watch, or better yet, participate in this fast-paced, creative, yet fun event at Happy Hour
