Using simple materials like cardboard, tissue paper, and glue, participants will design and construct a small, lightweight piñata in the shape of their choice think tiny tacos, pastel hearts, rainbow stars, or even your favorite animal! You’ll learn layering and fringing techniques to give your piñata texture and flair, and walk away with a vibrant, handmade piece of art.

Drop in for an informal second part to "Handcrafted Whimsy: Papier-Mâché Decor Made by You" - once your pieces have had time to dry - to paint and seal your decor. If you like, bring photocopies of favorite photos and/or decorative papers for collage!
